There will be a one day Financial Literacy- Credit and Housing Conference to be held Friday, August 10, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at The Macon County Courthouse Annex, in Tuskegee, AL. The Credit and Housing Conference, which will be open to the public, especially veterans at no cost, is being sponsored by The World Conference of Mayors, (WCM), the National Policy Alliance (NPA), together with Alabama City and County public officials: Macon County Commissioner Miles Robinson, Perry County Commissioner Albert Turner, Chair of the Black Commissioners Association, Mayor Raymond Steele of Eutaw, AL, and President of the AL Conference of Black Mayors, and others. The Conference will be coordinated by Mr. Michael Evan Johnson, and Mr. Lee Chambliss, both Tuskegee Financial/Housing Specialists.
