Alabama Farmers Federation to hold annual meeting in Montgomery
For just the third time in the history of the Alabama Farmers Federation, Montgomery will host the group’s 91st Annual Meeting Dec. 2-3. More than 1,200 members will converge in the Capital City for the occasion, which features awards, elections and speeches from Gov. Robert Bentley, political strategist Karl Rove and American Farm Bureau Federation President Bob Stallman.
“We’re excited for the meeting to come to Montgomery and feel the city offers three big advantages with the Montgomery Performing Arts Center, the Renaissance Hotel and the Montgomery Convention Center all under one roof,” said Destinations Director David Smart. “The facilities provide everything necessary for our delegates and exhibitors.”
Gov. Robert Bentley is the featured speaker for the opening session Dec. 2, scheduled from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
